TEBO BAKWENA SHORT PROFILE

Born and raised in the Republic of Botswana, a wife and mother of two, Tebo started her modelling career at the age of 18 when she was a finalist for Miss Botswana 2005. She went on to become the face of long and lasting hair products from 2006 – 2012 in South Africa .

Has done international fashion shows and fashion spreads for magazines such as Afropolitan, drum, bona magazine, I do magazine and truelove magazine.

Winner of MAIL AND GURDIAN 50 CHANGE MAKERS 2016 (ARTS AND CULTURE),A Co-owner of Model management company called Efigy Productions, Tebo’s mandate is to uplift young models and designers from unprivileged background giving them a platform to showcase their arts and crafts on a larger scale, hence the birth of the brand and lifestyle movement FASHION WITHOUT BORDERS DESIGNERS ROAD SHOW. With FWB setting its sights to Namibia and Zambia in the year 2017, Efigy Productions produced shows such as the Masom Derby Fashion Show in Maun, MR AND Miss EMFULENI 3 years in a row, Vaal street show, Emfuleni Fashion show, VUT fashion show, Mr and Miss VUT 3 years in a row, Miss VUT Fm, The Gauteng Sansui Summer Cup Fashion Show and many more.
